Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of automotive products. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Software Engineer.
What you will do: The Software Engineer designs, codes, tests, and debugs web and/or database software solutions for customers of test systems. The role researches, selects, and implements various third party components to allow integration into existing customer software platforms, while also supporting management to deliver software projects on time and within budget. The position units test software to ensure it meets design and customer requirements, provides proper documentation to support the software change (i.e., function specs, user guides, manual, release notes, implementation notes, etc.), and works with/as the design lead to contribute to designing new functionality, as required.
What you will need: BS/MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Current experience writing low level embedded software in C. Expertise with CAN communication and automotive diagnostics. Experience with core java development.
