Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a global, electronics company to identify an Autosar Software Engineer – ADAS for a newly created role.
What you will do: The Autosar Software Engineer – ADAS is responsible for software tasks and deliverables throughout the entire software lifecycle including, but not limited to requirements software design, coding, unit testing and defect resolution. The role follows a defined software process to ensure quality and documentation as per SPICE and CMMI requirements, performs detailed software specification, design and development of complex safety-critical features based on system requirements, and tracks/resolves all open issues through controlled and standard processes. The position generates documentation including release notes for all relevant baselines, software development plan, software requirement specifications and software quality assurance plan, while also following corporate quality process for documenting embedded code. Additionally, the Autosar Software Engineer provides customer interface regarding product functionality, supports vehicle integration activities, and generates project timelines, executing plans to established milestones.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering. Software engineering and design experience developing embedded software for automotive applications. Demonstrated working knowledge of “C” language. Knowledge of software requirements for vision systems or optical sensors. Basic knowledge of CMOS sensors and lenses. Knowledge of vehicle bus standards and experience with automotive software and device driver development. Knowledge of Vector CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANoe) or equivalent (NeoVI). Knowledge of configuration management tools: MKS or equivalent (PVCS). Knowledge of requirement management tools (DOORS) and issue tracking systems. Experience developing AUTOSAR components and AUTOSAR authoring.
