Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a tier-one supplier for the automotive manufacturing industry. Due to this recent growth, they have opened a position for a Software Engineer.
What you will do: The Software Engineer leads the global software development project team including technical leadership and program timing, designs the software architecture, and develops, documents, reviews, and approves software design specifications. The role analyzes and de-bugs software in embedded systems using proper instrumentation equipment, champions and adheres to a rigorous software design and development process, and actively leads/participates in software design peer reviews.
What you will need: BS in electrical/electronic engineering or computer science. Current experience in software engineering within tier one automotive. Familiarity with software tools including ClearCase/ClearQuest and PTC Integrity. Familiarity with Automotive SPICE. Experience with embedded systems analysis tools. Experience with software de-bugging tools. Knowledge and experience in real-time operating systems, control system design, serial data communication (CAN, LIN, and Key Word 2000). Knowledge and experience of C programming language, hardware/software integration, systems engineering and electrical/computer engineering concepts. Knowledge of and experience designing software using industry coding standards and best practices. Experience with automotive wireless access security systems and their applications. Application experience designing for Radio Frequency applications and security authentications. Application experience designing high current DC motors with feedback control. Experience with NXP, Renesas, and freescale family of microprocessors. Experience with user interfaces for embedded devices
