Software Engineer

Ann Arbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with a national supplier of healthcare information services. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Software Engineer.

What you will do: The Software Engineer is responsible for design and implementation of subsystems and for technical specifications for subsystem-level project. The role leads designers for subsystems, provides input in system-level design, and generates innovative approaches and solutions to problems, while also leading inspections, providing system testing, and maintaining technical development. The position manages multiple and competing priorities, participates in process re-engineering efforts, and conducts training for less-experienced staff members and internal or external customers. Additionally, the Software Engineer teaches less-experienced staff members in a mentor relationship, conducts presentations for various user areas and staff levels, and provides input regarding performance reviews, promotions and developmental opportunities for existing staff.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software. Strong experience in software engineering. Experience in healthcare IT. In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies and multiple programming languages and operating systems.
