Software Developer - C++

Ann Arbor, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a supplier of supply chain solutions. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a C++ Developer.

What you will do: The C++ Developer focuses on developing a supply chain simulation software product. The role designs, develops, and tests feature-rich C++ applications, takes ownership of projects and drives them through to completion thoroughly and efficiently, while also researching the best technology to solve problems. The position plays a key role in making appropriate design and architecture decisions, raises issues that impact project quality, scope, timing, or cost, and participates in a small team focused on expanding and developing simulation technology.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in computer science. Experience developing C++ applications. Familiarity with data structures and algorithms. Recent desktop (non-web) application development experience. A broad knowledge of OO principles, design patterns and the idioms of WPF, C# and the .NET framework. Experience with multi-threaded applications and parallel programming issues. Experience developing applications using Visual Studio. Recent experience with SQL Server including relational database design. Experience developing Web services and distributed system components. Experience developing Web applications using .NET and Entity Framework.
