Sled Test Technician

Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a large manufacturer of automotive components to highlights candidates to fill their newly opened a Sled Test Technician.

What you will do: The Sled Test Technician works in a hands-on lab utilizing equipment, software and hardware to setup and run tests that evaluate and validate seating products for use. The role ensures the mechanical and instrumentation setup and tear-down for sled tests, performs sled tests and uses Falcon video analysis software. The position uses a data acquisition system to collect test data, is responsible for test instrumentation set-up, calibration, and usage, and works with accelerometers, strain gages, load cells, string potentiometers, angle rate sensors, gyros and digital cameras.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience in sled testing. Test lab experience (equipment, methods, instruments). Ability to work 2nd shift.
