Wapakoneta, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of manufactured products and due their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Manufacturing Engineer – Continuous Improvement.
What you will do: The Manufacturing Engineer – Continuous Improvement assists in the facilitation of all continuous improvement (CI) activities for entire organization, creates, initiates, helps coordinate and executes lean activities, and training, and supports of cost saving initiatives. The role works closely with operators, engineering and management team to support continuous improvement, leads/participates in process improvement initiatives, and plans, promotes, and organizes training activities. The position facilitate the functional implementation of process improvements, prepares and presents reports to management on process capability and history, and presents project status reports for management. Additionally, the Continuous Improvement Engineer ensures that all co-workers comply with TS16949, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system requirements.
What you will need: BS in Engineering. Six Sigma certified is preferred. Current experience in manufacturing. Prior extrusion experience is a plus. Experience in continuous improvement.
