Service Engineer

Saline, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a world leader in equipment for industrial components.  Due to their growth, the company has opened a new position for a Service Engineer.

What you will do: The Service Engineer is responsible for the installation and commissioning of hobbing, shaping, and grinding machines, while also providing service to existing customers by troubleshooting and diagnosing controls, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to repair machines and ancillary equipment. The role provides service preventive maintenance to existing customers, provides training to existing customers, and tracks all delays in installations. The position also interacts with customers to communicate progress and open issues.

What you will need: Two year degree. Experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields. Experience with industrial controls PLC, NC, and HMI (i.e. Siemens, Indramat, Fanuc). Current experience in manufacturing.
