Novi, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading supplier of electronic components to a myriad of industries. We have been tasked to identify a Lead Testing Technician.
What you will do: The Lead Testing Technician is responsible for supporting product development. The role takes direction from test engineer and follows through to completion, inputs shop related (PR) purchase requisitions, maintains shop cleanliness, and performs component test setups on bench and vehicle. The position provides strong general prototype fabrication support, provides component instrumentation support to product and program engineering, and maintains/tracks instrumentation and test equipment calibration/certifications, while also providing customer response and forklift training. Additionally, the Lead Testing Technician leads MIOSHA safety compliance work to bring new tech center into compliance and develops shop and third party supplier capabilities.
What you will need: High school diploma. Current experience in testing. Extensive experience working in the OE automotive prototyping environment. TIG Welding experience. Extensive experience maintaining a shop environment and equipment. Background in component testing and validation methods and equipment. Experience with pressure, temperature, force, torque, and sensing.
