Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working a tier one supplier of automotive systems and due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Senior Program Manager.
What you will do: The Program Manager coordinates, develops, executes, and reports program timing, drives decisions making process to resolve issues in a timely manner, and defines key dates/timing issues, in support of the Master Program Schedule. The role interfaces directly with the Functional Managers to resolve project related issues, provides regular updates through status reports, and is the keeper of internal and external open issues. The position leads regularly scheduled team meetings to review timing, open issues, project budget and status reports, maintains the overall APQP process and leads assigned gate sign-off with the Functional Managers. Additionally, the Program Manager performs semi-complex to complex organizational tasks within project management, supports new suppliers selection process related to the program, and attends customer’s product development and design review meetings.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Automotive industry experience. Current experience in program management. Current experience in a program management role supporting large OEM’s
