Lafayette, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a global tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Senior Network Administrator.
What you will do: The Senior Network Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of the network that fall under the responsibility of the infrastructure team. The role installs/maintains Server Operating Systems and related software to ensure performance, evaluates system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters to ensure hardware and software compatibility, and troubleshoots system problems. The position defines/performs system management functions, ensures conformance to backup and disaster recovery plans, and manages user accounts and access controls as defined by process and/or system champions, while also supporting/maintaining the phone system. Additionally, the Senior Network Administrator develops system specifications and implements complex computing environments, manages Infrastructure projects, assists in all audits and maintain SOX compliance, and supports the plant floor team as needed from an Infrastructure perspective.
What you will need: Current experience in network administration. Experience working in the tier-one, automotive manufacturing space. Experience with SOX compliance.
