Salem, Illinois – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a manufacturing company supplying to transportation services. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Mechanical Engineer.
What you will do: The Mechanical Engineer manages product design control, ensures that design output is documented, verified, and validated against design input requirements, and holds/participates in design reviews.The role lays out electrical/mechanical components in equipment assemblies, while also being responsible for bill of material. Additionally, the Mechanical Engineer supports to Finite Element Analysis (FEA), handles customer and supplier documentation, and assists in problem solving activities. The position produces 3D design models and 2D manufacturing documentation (drawings), oversees large mechanical design and installation and drafting, and designs/develops weldments and assemblies.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree or greater in engineering. Current experience in mechanical engineering. Professional experience in engineering. Experience in 3D CAD software. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
