Senior ETL Developer

Ann Arbor, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a supplier of supply chain solutions. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for an ETL Developer.

What you will do: The ETL DEveloper develops ETL packages based on business requirements and service level agreements, is responsible for reviewing requirements, contributing to design components of ongoing and upcoming projects, and effectively estimating development effort, and stays up to date on techniques and components. The role is responsible for developing and documenting the systems, processes and logic required, monitors ETL applications for performance and improvement opportunities, and is responsible for delivering quality data integration projects and for hands on development using SSIS and ETL tools and processes. Additionally, the ETL Developer ensures the quality, consistency and security of company data and data warehouse systems.

 

What you will need: Current ETL experience. Knowledge of data modeling and designing databases. Good knowledge of metadata. Familiar with Data Warehouse concepts and experience with Star Schema. Hands-on experience with all aspects of designing, developing, testing and implementing ETL solutions. Deep understanding of SQL Server Integration Services. Knowledge of optimization techniques for both SSIS and SQL
