Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Corporate Senior Accountant.
What you will do: The Corporate Senior Accountant is responsible for the daily accounting actives of the Corporate Finance Department as well as various functions within the Corporate Accounting group, including, supporting month-end processes, effective reporting of financial results, performing and reporting various analysis, and assisting with tax requirements as necessary. The role provides analysis of financial statements, implements monthly inventory variance capitalization analysis and calculation, and gives interim and year-end external audit support. The position provides oversight of sales and tax, ensures financial records are maintained and compliant, and drafts general ledger journal entries.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Current public or private accounting experience with a national CPA firm. Experience in the manufacturing industry. Understanding of GAAP, international accounting a plus. QAD ERP experience preferred.
