Sales Manager - Solar Automation

Dallas, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national supplier of solar systems and components. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for an Automation Sales Manager – Solar.

What you will do: The Automation Sales Manager – Solar is responsible for sales and key account management of surface inspection products for solar inspection applications in North America. The role achieves business unit sales goals, develops and delivers effective presentations, and prepares written proposals, while also focusing on customers in the assigned region/business unit. The position generates leads through telemarketing, direct mail campaigns, e-mail campaigns, and trade show efforts, manages key accounts, develops a written sales plan to develop these accounts, and maintains the Salesforce.com CRM database with all relevant contact information. Additionally, the Automation Sales Manager – Solar keeps the President and other key personnel apprised of all activity, recommends trade show participation, understands and practices the concept of team selling, and communicates with and project management and field engineers teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

What you will need: Bachelor’s. Current experience in a regional sales role. Experience in capital equipment sales to the solar industry – 50% of current book of business needs to selling into solar manufacturers. Experience selling manufacturing vision systems. Ability to travel up to 80%.
