Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of tier one products to the automotive industry. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Sales Manager.
What you will do: The Sales Manager supports the implementation of customer strategy, manages all relevant activities in approved projects to achieve defined targets, and documents/maintains all projects in systems by ensuring high data quality. The role prepares/supports project related negotiations with customers, ensures successful development of orders, and suggests cost optimization to Account Manager/Global Account Director and/or Program Director. The position defines boundary conditions and supports the (pre-) calculation of prototype and serial production, while also preparing necessary data for sales planning and leading order/acquisition-related customer meetings including negotiations. Additionally, the Sales Manager expands customer relationship for commodity, maintains a strong customer orientation within the company, and informs respective superiors about customer related affairs in some particular cases.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Work experience in automotive (OEM’s) sales, Ford and FCA experience preferred. Chassis components (steel and aluminum) related experience. Proven record of conducting commercial negotiations and establish long term customer strategy. SAP knowledge.
