Sales Manager

Detroit, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Sales Manager.

What you will do: The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategy in the automotive, industrial and specialty vehicle market segments. The role develops relationships throughout the transportation market supply chains (OEM’s, Tier 1’s/Automotive glass fabricators) to identify opportunities for automotive and technical glass. The position drives specifications and complete qualification activities to achieve profitable sales opportunities, manages/grows the direct transportation and technical glass customer base, and negotiates customer contracts, supply agreements, and pricing. Additionally, the Sales Manager communicates market conditions, competitive intelligence, product development needs.

What you will need: Bachelors degree. Current experience in sales management. Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Previous experience with customer negotiations. Current experience within the tier-one automotive space. Experience with automotive glass. Knowledge of mirrors and sunroofs.
