Kingston, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a global manufacturer of engineered automotive and industrial products and due to their recent growth, they are looking to fill the position of Sales Engineer for equipment used in the automotive manufacturing industry.
What you will do: The Sales Engineer is responsible for sales to the heavy duty OEM segment. The role implements/follows plan to meet sales and unit objectives, provides input to annual sales forecast, monitors progress toward forecast achievement (by monitoring customer activity), and maintain records of price changes (affecting forecast achievement). The position establishes regular customer contact, ensures satisfactory resolution of concerns, promotes new products and provides training in the use and application of company products. The appointment provides technical support including participation in product development/product launch teams, provides call reports to sales director, and assists with communication of customer needs (to Applications Engineering and Product Managers).
What you will need: BSME. Knowledge of sales process, principles and knowledge of industry and approach. Knowledge of Quality Systems (OUS and OCDN), including contract review and APQP. Current experience in technical sales (OEM Heavy Duty Truck and Bus Market). Extensive heavy duty truck experience.
