Southfield, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an international leader in the balancing industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Sales Engineer.
What you will do: The Sales Engineer ensures order and revenue growth of Company’s Vertical Balancing product in order to meet company’s sales objectives, analyzes customer market for potential and new customers, and continually gathers marketing information to support increased sales for vertical product. The position calls on customers to analyze opportunities, identifies key personnel, develops strong business relationships, and identifies needs and develop quotations in accordance with customer requirements and company procedures. The role documents clear and concise information and instructions to process proposals properly in response to customer requests, keeps company informed of key changes in customer programs, products and personnel and other general information, and provides internal follow-up for assurance that in-process proposals and purchase order amendments are being properly expedited.
What you will need: Associates or Bachelors degree in industrial science or technology field. Sales or application engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the machine tool industry. Knowledge of marketing, selling, creative development is helpful. Knowledge of balancing machines is a plus. Extensive travel to customer facilities is required.
