Charlotte, North Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a world leader in fluid distribution and handling. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Sales Director.
What you will do: The Sales Director prepares, monitors and measures against yearly budget, monitors gross margin capture and assists in driving improvement throughout the year. The position focuses on value selling to increase the companies footprint within the target plant/municipality, hunts new clientele (new business development) and farms the current book of business. The role sells capital equipment and projects to heavy industrial and municipalities targeting the Chemical, Water/Waste Water, Power Gen & Oil & Gas industries, while also providing management of sales forecasting, contract negotiations, and root cause analysis. Additionally, the role oversees and trains multiple sales personnel.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience selling capital equipment into heavy industry, manufacturing or municipalities. Advanced experience selling rotating equipment (pumps or compressors) or fluid power/fluid handling. Ability to travel regionally up to 75%, some overnights. Experience managing direct sales reports. Experience managing a 5+ state territory.
