Sales Coordinator - Tier One

Spartanburg, South Carolina  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an international supplier of tier one products to the automotive industry. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Sales Coordinator.

What you will do: The Sales Coordinator establishes/manages customer relationships to ensure early involvement in development projects, while also teaming up with business development to ensure an aligned view on trends and new solutions to support the innovation processes. The role conducts technical presentations and coordinates customer meetings. The position supports the monitoring of prototype manufacturing, timing, and releases, supports the verification of existing products and identifies business opportunities, and cultivates/expands further business relationship with customer (technical development and platforms). Additionally, the Sales Coordinator provides detailed technical knowledge in negotiations, has responsibility for the budget, and achieves agreed targets.  This company is expanding their footprint within BMW and the position is open due to this growth.

What you will need: Current experience in sales coordination within a manufacturing company. Experience in the tier-one automotive industry is a plus. Experience with complex projects.  Current experience using SAP.  Experience working with account managers and program managers for automotive APQP launches.  Budgetary responsibility over 100+ parts/sku’s.
