Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a leader in manufacturing equipment assemblies for the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Controls Engineer.
What you will do: The Controls Engineer designs schematics and implements controls systems on new equipment, while also testing and troubleshooting control systems at the shop, local panel shops, and in the field. Additionally, the position designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements all aspects of controls systems software and hardware, while also working with a team of engineer toward the completion of multiple configuration projects.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Mid-range experience demonstrated success as a manufacturing/controls engineer in an automotive manufacturing or assembly facility. Experience in training others. AutoCAD experience is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot and program machine controls (Siemens – Step 7, Allen Bradley – Ladder Logic-STL & SCL, Siemen WinCC Hmi Development, AB Logix5000 PLC & Panelbuilder HMI S/W). Must have a working knowledge of automated assembly systems, a good understanding of the basic theory of industrial control systems applications, design, and operation including concepts of power distribution.Experience with Phoenix PC Works, Inderbus, Devicenet, RS View, Control Logix.
