Goshen, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a world leader in the automotive tier one space. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Weld Cell Technician.
What you will do: The Weld Cell Technician teaches robots points for optimum MIG-weld robustness, adjusts weld fixtures to control end product dimensions as well as MIG-weld gap/robustness, and develops preventative maintenance procedures related to weld fixtures and weld guns. The role improves process robustness, up-time and cycle time by researching and improving weld consumables, maintains shim adjustment logs for assigned area, and documents/improves welding parameters. The position provides input for evaluation of equipment and processes and understands incoming part quality and its effect on MIG-weld dimensional robustness.
What you will need: Experience in welding and welding techniques. Experience with Mig-welding. Experience with welding robotics. Experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry. Must be open on shift.
