Norwood, New Jersey – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international automotive manufacturer looking to highlight candidates to fill their newly opened Aftersales Pricing Manager.
What you will do: The Aftersales Pricing Manager is responsible for overseeing the residual value management process, monitoring sales performance for all iterations of ex-rental and off lease vehicle sales, developing floor pricing, and preparing impacts of options, conditioning, location and mileage. The role creates statistical models on ongoing basis to project residual values and identify risks and opportunities, works closely with 3rd party setters to validate and ensure correct residual value assumptions, and understands product portfolio, reflecting future ownership costs. The position develops monthly residual value reports, presents to stakeholders/management, develops detailed analysis on macroeconomic trends and data/incorporating factors into projections, and creates detailed analysis on internal trends and data/incorporating factors into projections. Additionally, the Aftersales Pricing Manager provides recommendations regarding vehicle contenting, based upon retained value and impacts, analytically supports pre-owned/remarketing teams, and supplies feedback to dealers on inquiries related to pricing methodology or concerns on specific unit pricing.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current experience in residual values in the automotive industry.
