Resident Engineer – GM

Warren, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national supplier to the automotive industry and due to recent growth within their company, they have opened a position for a Resident Engineer.

What you will do: The Resident Engineer is the single point contact for all customer related activities. The role provides closure to customer related issues and concerns, coordinates all aspects of program development and vehicle integration activities, and supports GM and supplier field testing and bench testing. The position attends GM design reviews and related program meetings, initiates EWO’s, answers PRTS issues and utilizes E2. Additionally, the Resident Engineer supports other GM facilities during prototype and production build events and coordinates continuous improvement efforts on processes and procedures.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in automotive engineering. On-site GM experience. Automotive electro-mechanical experience. PRTS, EWO, CEMENT and E2 systems knowledge. Experience with automotive antenna systems. Experience with vehicle integration/packaging.
