Round Rock, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national manufacturer of electric motors and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Research & Development Manager.
What you will do: The Research and Development Manager establishes current and long-range objectives, plans, and policies, conceptualizes, creates, and articulates the technical vision for the company and plans for the implementation of new technical projects or product lines in support of resulting technical roadmaps. The role works with product development, sales, and marketing to discern competitiveness of new technologies, reviews operating results of the organization, creates technical budgets, allocates resources, and determines schedule of product releases or project deadlines. The position plans/directs all investigations and negotiations pertaining to technical aspects of mergers, joint ventures, acquisition of businesses, or sales of major assets, analyzes new technologies, and runs competitive analyses. Additionally, the R&D Director maintains all compliance standards.
What you will need: PHD in Engineering. Advanced experience in research and development within manufacturing. Current experience in manufacturing management.
