Nacogdoches, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an engineered wood products manufacturer that services the construction industry for both residential and commercial markets. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Plant Reliability Maintenance Manager that will focus on plant equipment.
What you will do: Develop & direct internal maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and spare parts management with the goal of safely achieving required manufacturing equipment utilization, reliability, and efficiencies. Manage (evaluate, develop, and implement) procedures and equipment changes for maintenance effectiveness, predictive maintenance programs, EHS compliance, and building/other code compliance. This role will manage equipment projects with a focus on safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. This position will be involved in projects from the concept and detail of the design through implementation, testing and handover. This role will design/specify/install equipment for process improvement and develop proposals to avoid and mitigate equipment failures. This role will have 3 direct reports and will be responsible for the reliability program for the plant
What you will need: Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering. 3+ years of experience with manufacturing equipment with a preference towards the pulp/paper or forestry industry preferred. Experience in project management with regards to equipment installation. Ability to understand equipment operation and process flow
Ability to analyze data – develop proposals.
