Terre Haute, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing Tier One automotive supplier. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have newly opened position for a Quality Supervisor.
What you will do: The Quality Supervisor plans and conducts the activities of employees, the analysis, inspection, test and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component. The role initiates, documents, counsels, coaches and disciplines all assigned employees, is responsible for creating/maintaining training plans and scheduling for all assigned personnel, and documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures. The position contributes actively to the reduction of failure costs like scrap, sorting and rework, develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities, and communicates issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities. Additionally, the Quality Supervisor prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities, directs salaried, technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities, and enforces compliance with established quality processes.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current experience in a supervisory role in the automotive industry. Understanding of core tool (AIAG: SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP and MSA manuals), ISO/TS 16949, Six Sigma and customer requirements. German language speaking skills is a plus.
