Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a leading manufacturer of quality solutions. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Operations Manager.
What you will do: The Operations Manager leads employees to maximum productivity, with a focus on employee engagement, manages profit and loss statement, with a focus on revenue growth and maximum profitability, and develops and leads various strategic initiatives. The position identifies/develops processes to enhance/maximize efficiencies, coordinates with other working groups to effectively reach and exceed targeted goals, and makes business recommendations on capital expenditures and other initiatives. The role promotes new business opportunities and leads a team of over 60 employees.
What you will need: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Management. Advanced experience in a technical or engineering environment, preferably in a testing or product development laboratory. Current general management experience, including people management experience, direct responsibility for hiring, firing, performance management, and employee growth and development plans. Experience with P/L, with a focus on margin enhancement. Testing experience is a plus.
