Lewisburg, Tennessee – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a global tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Quality Manager.
What you will do: The Quality Manager serves as the plant customer contact/representative, provides leadership to assure effective communication, coordination, and interaction with manufacturing, engineering and quality, and evaluates/implements technology compatible to the company needs. The role evaluates control plans from concept phase through final approval, organizes/directs interaction of all affected company areas, and reviews prints and specifications to insure quality and reliability requirements are addressed. The position tracks engineering changes through the system, provides Quality personnel with assistance and training to insure acceptable quality performance, and trains quality and manufacturing personnel on use of new and existing equipment. Additionally, the Quality Manager provides assistance as needed in performing capability studies and process potential studies, creates/maintains files of all parts and blue prints, and provides a direct communication link with company management, coordinating all departments for quality problem resolutions.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience in a Quality Supervisor or managerial position for an automotive supplier in the metal processing field.
