Newnan, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a privately held multinational company in the automotive space. Due to recent growth, they have a newly created position for a Quality Manager, just east of Newnan.
What you will do: The Quality Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a quality system that assures all products assembled by the molding and assembly facilities meet and exceed customer specifications, achieves superior quality and reliability levels, and complies with all ISO/TS 16949 & ISO-14001 procedures and work instructions. The role assumes the primary role overseeing all quality activities, assumes the primary role in selection, training development and supervision of the quality staff, and develops/maintains a quality assurance program to ensure conformity. The position meets with vendors, customers, representatives, and company personnel, prepares for and represents the company during all related audits, and performs customer visits.
What you need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in a quality management role within automotive manufacturing. Experience managing 15+ reports. Strong knowledge of injection molding and extrusion. Knowledge of lean manufacturing – Six Sigma certification is preferred. Knowledge of Zeiss CMM (Calypso) software and layout reports (GD&T).
