Quality Manager

Sterling Heights, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a supplier of stamped and manufactured goods to a litany of manufacturing environment, Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Quality Manager.

What you will do: The Quality Manager is responsible for quality and the environmental initiatives of the plant. The role identifies/proposes action plans for preventative and corrective actions, coordinates/executes audits concerning quality and environmental systems, and manages active projects from a quality perspective. The position organizes/maintains documentation regarding regulatory compliance, implements standards, and resolves all quality issues. Additionally, the Quality Manager is the customer contact concerning product quality and guides the actions of employees. This is a strategic role that will be part of the plant leadership team with responsibilities in annual budget development and periodic forecasting.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience as a quality manager within manufacturing. Experience in quality control, quality assurance or quality management. Experience in ISO9001/AS9100/NADCAP with compliant quality management systems (QMS). Strong knowledge of quality standards, policies and GD&T. Experience managing reports.
