Germantown, Wisconsin – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a world leader in the tier one automotive space. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Quality Engineer.
What you will do: The Quality Engineer leads and facilitates the implementation of global and site specific quality initiatives and their continual improvement, while also accountable for the day-to-day site quality engineering activities including material disposition, internal/external concern management, APQP / FMEA / PPAP activities, metrology management, etc. Lead, coach, and facilitate problem solving, analysis of data and continual improvement activities. This post not only facilitates the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Process Sign-off (PSO) and other customer specific requirements, but additionally participates in establishing yearly quality key measurable targets, customer and internal requesting assurance team members, and the layered audit process and as an internal management systems auditor. The Quality Engineer represents quality assurance team in Advanced Product Quality Planning process and control plan development, while also being responsible for customer concern management and corrective action request process and material review board activities.
What you need: Engineering degree with Industrial/Manufacturing discipline. 2-5 years experience in manufacturing environment, with additional in a process driven, high volume manufacturing facility. Metallurgical background a plus. Knowledge of LEAN tools, descriptive statistics, and quality & environmental systems such as TS 16949 & ISO 14001. May require up to 25% travel.
