Fort Wayne, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international provider of industrial and consumer software systems. Due to recent growth within their company, they have opened a position for a Quality Engineer, southwest of Fort Wayne.
What you will do: The Quality Engineer – Technical Lead develops quality plans and roadmaps for product lines to achieve business targets, leads root cause analysis with a cross function team including engineer, manufacturing and sourcing, and directs the execution of corrective action implementation plans. The position leads manufacturing and suppliers on targeted improvement activities, tracks/reports quality metrics to management and customer, and provides documentation and presentations to management and customers. The role provides Statistical Analysis expertise including, Trend Analysis, SPC, MTBF, Red X, Weibull and DOE and advanced quality planning support: PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA’s, Process certification.
What you will need: BSEE, Current experience in quality engineering. Minitab or similar statistical experience. Strong root cause analysis skills. Process or product improvement experience. FMEA and Control Plans experience. PPAP/APQP knowledge and evaluation experience. Automotive experience and knowledge. Ability to travel up to 25%.
