Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a tier-one supplier of automotive components. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Quality Engineer – Interiors.
What you will do: The Quality Engineer – Interiors is reponsible for the coordination and the actual reworking of nonconforming products, for the completion of APQP documents for project launches, and for the completion of documentation for PPAP (production part approval process) submission to customers. The role develops, maintains, and documents communication to the customers and suppliers, obtains access to customer web sites and review daily, and conducts/documents review of rejected product internally. Additionally, the Quality Engineer – Interiors participates in the development and implementation of audit corrective actions, controls and distributes drawings, trains employees in inspection criteria and participates in the development plans for projects.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in quality. Experience in the tier one automotive space. Knowledge of 8-D problem solving techniques. German and/or Spanish language speaking preferred.
