Quality Engineer - CNC

St. Louis, Missouri – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national manufacturing that supplies to a myriad of industries. Due to a recent transition, they have a need for a Quality Engineer.

What you will do: The Quality Engineer coordinates/resolves quality issues, participates in product design and implements programs focused on defect prevention. The position works with new product development for bushings, plungers, castings, grinding, CNC, heat treating, provides plant quality engineering, and works with the supplier quality engineer to assure the most advanced and reliable components. The role develops/implements corrective actions to quality problems, participates on product design teams, and reviews new gages and inspection equipment, implementing their use. Additionally, the Quality Engineer reviews design changes, evaluates quality impact and supports quality assurance project across the department.

What you will need: Bachelors in Engineering. Current experience in quality engineering. Experience with CNC machining. Light managerial experience is a plus.
