Alexandria, Minnesota – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a national supplier of material handling equipment. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Quality Engineer.
What you will do: The Quality Engineer participates in design review for current and new product development. The role conducts/participates in DFMEA / PFMEA and conducts process capability analysis and plans or leads variation reduction activities, while also developing process control plans and associated quality checks and error proofing. The position analyzes manufacturing, warranty and customer feedback data to prioritize, lead or coach problem solving or continuous improvement projects utilizing quality engineering tools and six sigma tools following the DMAIC methodology. Additionally, the Quality Engineer establishes/monitors data collection methods for the dissemination of reports to manufacturing personnel and management, leads project teams for the development of process elements, and conducts measurement system analysis and creates measurement instructions/methods.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in quality engineering. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of material handling equipment is a plus. ASQ CQE and/or SSGB/SSBB desirable.
