Westminster, Massachusetts – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a world leading automotive supplier. Their products represent some of the most advanced, innovative and safest in the industry. Due to their growth, they have newly created position for a Quality Engineer.
What you will do: This role will be tasked with ensuring that quality requirements are satisfied by suppliers by identifying and coordinating the resolution of problems with corrective actions and follow-ups. The thrust of this role will provide technical leadership for the continuous improvement of supplier quality while working with purchasing in the selection of suppliers for new or continuing business. This will involve full evaluation of supplier quality history and conveyance of known supplier capabilities. This role will also provide process/industry standard input into engineering that confirms the design is feasible using the selected process. This position will also verify that all required technical, quality and tooling requirements are defined by the drawings and specifications prior to the approval of PPAP and provide post-launch plant support on supplier quality/tooling issues.
What you will need: Engineering Degree and current experience in product quality. Automotive experience.
