Orangeburg, South Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier to the automotive industry and due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Quality Engineer.
What you will do: The Quality Engineer organizes and maintains the quality system for the facility. The role monitors/tracks quality systems, updates these systems as improvement opportunities are found, and maintains scrap and on-hold product information for production and engineering to target improvement activities. The position leads internal and external TS16949 audit programs, while also managing a documentation/PPAP coordinator. Overall, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for layered process auditing, statistical process control, the control plan/FMEA tracking, customer claim tracking, and the non-conforming material system.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Automotive manufacturing experience. Current experience in quality engineering. TS16949 Lead Auditor certification.
