Quality Assurance Engineer

Atlantic, Iowa- Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a leader in manufacturing equipment assemblies for the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Quality Engineer.

What you will do: The Quality Engineer is responsible for plant product quality and customer satisfaction, leads all quality improvement activities (supplier, internal and customer), and manages/develops the quality system. The role is responsible for audits and documentation requirements (internal, third party and customer), directing plant quality staff, and training/developing plant staff in the use of quality tools and methodologies. The position manages/develops customer and supplier relationships, performs problem solving, and develops cost of quality metrics and tracking methodology.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree., any flavor will do.  Knowledge of QS9000, ISO 9000 or TS16949 Quality Systems. Experience with the APQP system. Quality Certification (CQE, BB, CMQ/OE, lead auditor, etc.) desirable.
