Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of IT and marketing services. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Quality Assurance Analyst.
What you will do: The Quality Assurance Analyst designs and develops test plans to validate client and IT applications, interprets client’s needs and requirements into functionally sound test plans, and reviews system specifications and documentation. The role produces quality testing deliverables (Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Conditions Matrices, Test Scripts and Reporting.), runs manual test cases for application or system functionality, and performs analysis to ensure that it meets design specification. The position documents testing results, troubleshoots, documents and escalates issues as appropriate, and ensures defect management and tracking through to completion. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Analyst consults with senior peers to learn through experience, implements quality processes in support of the development and production change management processes, and actively participates in QA status meetings.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree with a technology or business emphasis. Experience within the Quality Assurance space, developing and executing test plans. Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL queries. Knowledge of web based testing (soapui, jira, or similar tools). Knowledge of mobile application testing.
