Troy, Michigan – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Project Manager.
What you will do: The Project Manager develops and maintain assigned customer relationships, works closely with current and potential customers, and develops proposals, budgets, and project plans with technical teams. The position negotiates scope, pricing, and timing with stakeholders, develops acceptance test plants, and leads teams through informal discussions. The role, also, develops/maintains project plans, controls cost within budget, and develops acceptance test plans to insure design intent. additionally, the Project Manager provides periodic project status reviews for internal and customer stakeholders.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Management experience out of a tier-1 supplier. Knowledge of oil pumps, drive-trains, carbon canisters, and/or fuel related products. Experience managing the timing and budgeting of a program from prototype to production.
