Irving, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a growing “start up” division of a multi-national healthcare communications company. They are currently building out a team of software engineers in Irvine to develop a cutting edge platform for in hospital communications. This has created a position for a Project Manager.
What you will do: This position is responsible for the direct management of product development projects involving teams with a broad range of cross-functional departments, potentially including numerous and diverse outside vendors. This role ensures program scopes include global input from all functional areas including Marketing, Sales, Training, R&D, Operations, Quality, Legal, Regulatory, and Purchasing. Works with functional management to ensure that the best team structure and members are identified on core teams while ensuring sufficient and appropriate resources will be made available. Identifies key stakeholders and understands their expectations for a successful project. Ensures customer requirements are defined by partnering with cross functional teams and including stakeholder requirements. Develops work breakdown structures and identify key deliverables. Develops dependency diagrams among tasks. Builds integrated schedules and budgets. Optimizes schedules to identify critical path(s) and include major risks. Publishes and gains agreement on the baseline integrated schedule. Ensures integrated plans address stage-gate exit deliverables.
What you will need: Completed 4 year degree. Current project management experience in a new product development environment. Experience in Agile based project management. Experience working in a software/hardware environment .
