Durham, North Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national company that provides energy technologies and services to electric utilities and their large industrial, commercial, institutional and municipal customers. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Assistant Retail Program Manager.
What you will do: The Assistant Retail Program Manager assumes ownership and management of retail programs from official kickoff meeting through 100% completion, runs project kickoff meetings with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, and Operations Teams, and ensures accuracy of drawings to minimize changes in the field. The role coordinates new project setup, creates Macro Program schedules and coordination to Field Project Management resources, and manages project budget based off of project pricing. The position maintains/adjusts project schedule throughout the lifespan of a project, maintains project closeout documents from Field Project Management, and assists in Inventory Management and Generator Logistics. Additionally, the Assistant Retail Program Manager approves all project related invoicing and provides customer and internal project team with weekly program/project progress updates.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management. Current experience as a project management within construction or infrastructure. Basic knowledge of power systems, distribution, utility infrastructure, generators, switchgear, transformers, electrical/construction practices, project management practices, and low voltage/medium voltage design. Ability to travel up to 80%.
