Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a manufacturer of capital equipment and tooling systems. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Project Manager.
What you will do: The Project Manager manages assigned Customer System Integrator projects, defining and communicating clear project deliverables and performance targets, manages all aspects of assigned projects to meet profitability and financial targets, delivering products and services in line with customer needs, and manages projects with responsibility for project planning, development, and change management, and input to budget development and updating. The role provides day-to-day direction, tracks progress of the engineering, purchase and operational teams against established project plan, and monitors/reacts to key performance indicators. The position supports customer technical reviews, manages customer expectations by providing on-site interface for customer, and provides input into quotations to cover all requests for change from the baseline quoted content for assigned projects. Additionally, the Project Manager identifies risk and opportunities, develops executable risk mitigation and ability to realize opportunities, and generates and presents to Program Management/Corporate, realistic system improvements, and new business opportunities.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing. Recent experience in program/project management onside with an OEM. Knowledge of automated assembly processes.Management experience with automated machines and system integration experience.
