Project Manager

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a leading supplier of electronic components to a myriad of industries. We have been tasked to identify a Project Managerfor a newly created role.

What you will do: The Project Manager is responsible for the successful development of automotive electronic products and leads the development team from concept to production. The role plans engineering development, breaks down development into work packages, and estimates effort associated with work packages, while also preparing the timing plan, tailoring development process to project needs, and prepares engineering documentation. The position directs day-to-day activities of an engineering development team, including electrical, mechanical, software and validation engineers, reviews and approves engineering work products, acts as the primary technical interface to the customer, and manages/negotiates customer requirements. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager directs and supports the build of engineering development samples, ensures design for manufacturability, and reports status, preparing contingency plans and executing corrective actions.

What you will need: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Hands on professional experience in leading test and measurements. Supervisory and/or project lead experience in a technical field. Strong manufacturing engineering experience in a high volume plant.
