Project Management Coordinator

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a leading Tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their recent growth, the company has a newly created position for a Project Management Coordinator.

What you will do: The Project Management Coordinator leads/manages a team of Project Managers, maintains/plans Shop Floor System deployment roadmap, and educates/solicits coordination with Business Group Operations and Program Teams. The role directly manages project managers providing team assignments and resource planning, monitors/assures effective project execution, and designs/executes efficient status reports visualizing overall status and areas of focus. The position pursues a continuous improvement approach on project methodologies, provides project definition and validation with business including timeline, and delivers/manages the project budget. Additionally, the Project Management Coordinator delivers software RFC’s and local IT and business staff training on system operation, provides departmental process views and supports overall service delivery excellence.

What you will need: PMP Certification. Experience in project management. Experience in staff management. Experienced in process improvement, lean manufacturing, automotive sequencing and traceability software development and deployment. Experience in SAP inventory, order management and shipping. Automotive JIT and ERP EDI data standards and processes knowledge. Experience in Server and failover methodologies preferred.
