Project Engineer – Seating

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a growing automotive Tier-1.  Due to their recent growth, they have a newly created position for a Seating Project Engineer.

What you will do: The Seating Project Engineer develops and coordinates product specifications, develops product specifications based on customer requirements, related parts specifications, and design policy, and modifies product specifications in accordance with product test results, vehicle test results, etc. The role implements application design by adapting original designs to meet customer requirements, issues internal drawings and customer drawings, and develops evaluation plans and coordinate implementation. Additionally, the Seating Project Engineer interprets test results, taking countermeasures as needed, submits test reports to customers and departments, and coordinates engineering promotional activities, preparing necessary material (presentation materials, samples, test vehicles, etc.).

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Product design and development experience (automotive preferred).  CAD experience, Catia v5 preferred. Knowledge of seating design.
