Project Engineer - ECU

Novi, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a growing automotive tier-one.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an ECU Project Engineer.

What you will do: The Project Engineer assists sales engineers in the creation and/or explanation of technical materials, supports the ECU team in the creation of product roadmaps based on market, product and technical trends, governmental regulations, and customer feedback from sales expansion activities, conducts product development activities in cooperation with management to ensure all project milestones are me. The position works on ECU Application design and product development according to customer requirements, related parts specifications and AISIN’s design policy, advises project leaders and management, as required, in the modification of product specifications in accordance with test results, and when necessary, facilitate customer negotiations to modify specification and/or test requirements.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Matlab/Simulink, Stateflow, HIL Testing, CANoe, CANalyzer.  Embedded System Design (Hardware and software requirements analysis, specification creation, system testing and software release).  Proficient with electronic measuring equipment such as oscilloscope(s), digital multi meters, etc. Basic proficiency with DFMEA, DRBFM, FTA and other design tool/methodology. Relevant experience in the automotive industry, preferably with a Tier One supplier.
