Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of tier one products to the automotive industry. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Project Engineer.
What you will do: The Project Engineer coordinates activities in all areas of capital project development, implementation and completion in order to meet defined budget schedule and return on investment. The position manages all aspects of project, including cost control, resources, and scope, and equipment design, documents progress of project implementation to include weekly progress reporting, and interfaces with team members, internal customers and equipment vendors. The role provides mechanical or electrical engineering support for production and maintenance, develops detailed project plans including project schedule, budget, and return on investment, and plans, coordinates, and leads capital project scheduling, budgeting and administrative tasks. Additionally, the Project Engineer communicates process, equipment, and tooling changes, presents monthly reports on capital improvement projects, and assists in instruction, training, and checking of assigned work areas.
What you will need: Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering.. Experience in tier-one automotive engineering. Current experience in project engineering. Current experience working with one of the big 3.
